Why we built Imcredify
“I was born in Zambia and I have spent my life moving.
I lived in South Africa. Then Germany. Now the United States. In between I traveled through countries across Africa, across Asia, and across Europe. Different languages. Different cultures. Different ways of doing everything — including money.
Each country I lived in or visited, I had to learn a new financial system from scratch. How banking works. How loans work. How people build wealth. What the rules are and why they exist.
America was the most different of all. Here, everything depends on something called credit — and nobody explains it to people who just arrived.
I spent years learning how it works. I talked to immigrants who were struggling with the same confusion I once had. And I realized the problem was never the system itself. The problem was that nobody was explaining it simply.
That is why I built Imcredify. To give every immigrant the clear, plain-language credit guide that nobody gave me.”
